A broken washing machine led sisters, Annie Vaughan and Chloe Noakes, into a local laundromat in January, 2025.
35 minutes later, with the equivalent of 4 loads of laundry completed at once, they agreed to build one of their own.

Time is precious and laundry is relentless. Folded Laundromat invites the Northern Beaches community to change the way they think about laundry, and win their time back while doing so.

Located in North Balgowlah on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Folded Laundromat operates as a self-serve wash and dry space. Built to offer the busy families, local businesses, professionals, sporting clubs and service workers of the community an opportunity to win their time back during the hours that work for them; in a space that affirms the belief that at Folded Laundromat,
There Is Nothing Dirty About Laundry.

Through the window, a street with a sidewalk and a green area is visible. The window has large text written backwards, likely part of the word "DREAM" or similar.
